Kerry up to his old tricks

Now THIS is what I was talking about with politics. This pisses me off, and I know it's pissing off alot of vets as well.
Kerry decided to go off and bash the troops serving in Iraq.

White House, Kerry exchange accusations - Yahoo! News

He said during a campaign stop, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do
your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If
you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

He's making a direct assault on the people who are fighting in Iraq. Our all-volunteer forces are some of the best educated in this country. More than 98% of all military personnel have graduated high school, compared to 75% for the rest of the country (that number seems a bit low for me, it might not count GEDs); in addition, in every part of the US, military recruits are more likely to graduate than not. So much for not making it.

I have a mind to join the military. When I do, I intend to send Kerry a copy of my bachelors degree and enlistment contract. Not only have I gone through the education system that he thinks is crap

What the hell?!

Someone actually READS this thing! Looks like I'm going to have to talk now. Good thing is, now I have stuff to talk about! Iran, Iraq, North Korea, one of the newest Sailors to the US Navy (who happens to be one of my friends), and politics will be the subjects. That last one has about 3 sub-topics alone, so I'm going to need to do quite a few posts to catch up.
