A one-fingered salute to insurgents

In an article in the Omaha World-Herald last Saturday, a Marine from an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attached to a Nebraska National Guard unit was injured by an IED. The Nebraskans didn't want the young Marines in the group, as well as the insurgents witnessing the scene, to see GySgt Michael Burghardt being carried off in a stretcher.
